Books and Movies 2018

Source: Pinterest
My reading productivity in 2018 has increased quite rapidly compared to in 2017. This is seen from the number of books I read. In 2018, I read 81 books and some of them are light books such as books about food and its recipes. Most of the books I read are in digital format because last year I often borrowed books from iPusnas, a digital library application developed by the National Library.

If in 2017 I watched more films than read books, this year the books I read were far more than the films I watched, namely 10 films.

Well, from the 81 books that I read, the five best books in my opinion are Bumi Manusia (Pramoedya Ananta Toer), Sakuntala (Gunawan Maryanto), Unpublished from Malang (Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana), From Java Towards Atjeh (Linda Christanty), and Ecophenomenology (Saras Dewi). The order is random, and I chose these five books because they gave me new perspectives in seeing and responding to various things, moral messages also touched me and I was very animated when reading them and it was difficult to move on.
